Virginia married Chester T. Horton of Wilmington, Mass. in 1946

In North Hollywood, California. She is survived by three children,

Eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and brothers

 Nat, Class 1941 and Dick Hillyer Class 1942



Virginia and her family lived in Somis, California for 45 years and

 later moved to northern, California to be closer to her family.



Besides being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great -  

                                    grandmother, Virginia was a very talented and accomplished

artist. Her oil paintings and watercolors are cherished by family

and friends. She held many one – person art shows in Southern

 California. She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith

and her compassion for others. She was also a wonderful musician,

gardener, fisherwoman, birdwatcher, craftsperson and all – around 

                                 nature lover.
