Personal Notes

Arthur was my daddy. His true enjoyment of people and laughter will be my most treasured memory. Although he had many hard times, I never saw him give up. Words can never describe how much he meant to me or the sadness his passing has brought. I no longer have a fear of death because I know he is on the other side waiting with mommy to see me.

Arthur was my father in law and I hope that some of his patience rubbed off on me so that I can put up with his daughter, Shonda, as long as he did! He was a fine man.

I miss Pappaw. He let me do whatever I wanted and didn't care if I was mean. He bought me my first four wheeler and took me to the big water. He got me my first dog and a rocking horse, too. He let me have his dessert most of the time. I loved my Pappaw. He called me Gus.

WARRIOR IN MY DREAMS- I know you,I have seen you, as a spirit in my dreams. A warrior, fierce and proud calling to me it seems. You speak to me of valor, freedom, honor, the battles you have fought.I have seen the bloody massacre on the day you were shot.As youre life slipped away you took a look around.Your burden of guilt is heavy for those dying upon the ground. My soul feels the anguish you've carried so many years.Warrior in my dreams,Ikneel to wipe your tears.
