Anthony was a wonderful man. A wonderful Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Friend. He lived his entire life in the Schenectday area. He was 91 years old when he passed peacefully at home with family by his side. He married Rebecca his wife of 45 years on June 28, 1941. Rebecca lost a long battle to cancer on April 10, 1986. Anthony served with the U.S. Air Force during WWII, where he was stationed in Italy. Upon returning home he was employed by American Locomotive until their closing. He was then employed by Condec, until he retired in 1978. After a few years at home he returned to the working world as a maintenance man for the Shoporama Mall on Altamont Ave., now known as Hannaford Plaza, and held this position until his death. He was a hardworker and devoted human being. Anthony loved life. He especially enjoyed the wonderful times spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed his fishing trips with his son, grandsons and friends. Anthony took great pride and pleasure working in his flower gardens. On top of all this he also enjoyed bowling with his senior league every Tuesday. He was also a member of the Schenectady Masonic Lodge #1174. Anthony truly was an extrodinary human being!
