After the poem there is breif biography of Randy.

When Tomorrow starts without me,
and I am not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,

While thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you loved me,
as much as I love you,
and each time you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand,
that an Angel came and called my name,
and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready, in heaven above,
and that I would have to leave behind,
all those I dearly love,

But as I turned to walk away,
a tear fell from my eye,
for all of life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die,
I had so much to live for,
so much yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you,

I thought of all the yesturdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and even all the fights we had,

If I could relive Yesturday,
just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you,
and maybe see you smile,

But then I fully realized;
that this could never be,
for emptieness and memories,
would take the place of me.
and when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did
my heart filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt as much at home;
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from his great golden thrown,
He said"This is eternity, and all I've promised you"
Today life on earth is past,
but here starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day is the same day,
there is no longing for the past,

But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true,
Though there were times you did some things,
you shouldn't do,
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you are FREE,
So won't you take my hand,
and share this life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we are far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here in your heart.

Randy who also went by the name Bub, was a resident of Albion, Michigan, he lived in tennessee for a few years which he believed that was God's country. Previous to becoming ill he was employed as a truck driver, He was a loving son, brother, and a caring father, Surving him are three children, a son and two daughters and his father, brother,three sisters,neices,nephews,several cousins,aunts,uncles, grandparents and me one of his dearest friends. Proceeding him in death was his biological mother who died when he was only two years old, from a heart condition, he also had a son who died at birth of unknown circumstances. He also enjoyed C,B, radios, his C.B. handle was tennessee hillbilly which suited him, He had many freinds he enjojed talking to on the C.B. He used to be a party animal, he never left anybody out of his fun. He loved to go fishing with his dad, brother and his bestfriend paul. He liked fast cars. He was also a vivid lover of music of all types, his favorite artists were Hank Williams Jr.,George Jones,Jonny Cash and Kid Rock and the louder he played the music the better he liked it. This world is now a lonlier place without him, and I hope someday we all will get to see him again. To let those know who are viewing this Randy had drinking problems and he succesfully gave drinking up two years prior to his death and I never got the chance to tell him that I was proud of him for giving drinking up, so I am saying it now, I am proud of you honey.

In loving memory of Randy Lee Smith Jr. You will be missed by all that knew you, and the future generation yet to come.

God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put His arms around you And whispered,"Come with me." With tearful eyes, we watched you Suffer and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands came to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

Would you lay with me in a feild of stone if my needs was strong. Would you lay with me because I know it wouldn't be wrong. Should my lips grow dry would you wet them in the midnite hour. Would you walk a thousand miles through the burning sand wipe the blood away from my dieing hand, If I gave myself to you. Would you lay with me in the stream of love when the moon is full, will you love me when I am down and out, In my time of trial will you stand by me.

Randy had quotes written down in his bible I would like to share:
"It is always sunrise some where"

"God has two dwellings: one in heaven and one in a thankful heart"

"He is happiest be he king or peasant, who finds happiness at home"

"The Lord is my light and my salvation"

"Whether you turn to you right or to your left, you will hear a voice behind you saying this is the way to go"

"In my fathers house there are many rooms"

Randy was not perfect, he had his problems, but once he over came all of his problems, I got to know this tender hearted gentle man, who I will love until the day I join him in heaven. He can never be replaced, he is definantly one of a kind.

No person is ever truly alone,Those who live no more, Whom we loved, Echo still with in our hearts, And what they did, And who they were, Becomes a part of all that we are, Forever.
