JAMES WAS A FISHERMAN , HUNTER, YOU NAME IT AND HE LIKE TO HUNT AND CATCH IT. FISHING WAS HIS PASSION, JAMES ALSO WAS A COALMINOR FOR MANY YEARS. HE LOVED HIS FAMILY . HE HAS 3 BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN JUNIOR , PATRICIA, SUSANNA. HIS WIFE PHYLLIS JEAN. JAMES WAS VERY WELL KNOWN IN HIS COMMUNITY TO BE AFISHERMAS, HAD HE LIVED OUT HIS SHORT LIFE I KNOW HE WOULD HAVE BEEN A FISHER OF MEN. HE HAD A SPECIAL CALL ON HIS LIFE, I HEARD MY POPPY SAY HE HAD NEVER HEARD A MAN PRAY LIKE JAMES DID. JAMES, WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. I KNOW YOU HAVE NOW CAUGHT THE LARGEST FISH EVER. LOVE BENO

He was a gental man whith a stern voice,he believed in his family @gave us a foundation to cont... our life on. He helped his neibor when he could @ loved people like no other man i've met.He inplanted morals @ respect in his home. I only wish he was here to pull us back together,the way were suppose to be.I love you daddy @ I miss you.

James was like a brother to me and he did always catch the biggest fish it was amazing we would fish all day and get nothing and he would cast his line and pull in a huge fish, I remember him taking us to the New River to fish and that was really cool! James was always fishing or hunting, and he was very proud of his kids!

HE WASN'T ONLY MY FATHER BUT MY TEACHER AS WELL YES HE TAUGHT ME TO FISH,HUNT,AND TO RESPECT OUR RIVERS AND LAKES HE WAS FAIR BUT FIRM I DIDN;T LISTEN WHEN I SHOULD HAVE BUT HE KNEW I HEARD HIM I THOUGHT I WAS ON A PATH TO MAKE HIM PROUD BUT AFTER HIS DEATH I'VE DONE VERY LITTLE TO BE PROUD OF SO HERE AND NOW I SAY I'M ON A PATH THAT HE WOULD BE PROUD OF AND I PROMISE HIM AND MY FAMILY THAT I'LL NOT EVER LEAVE THIS WORLD THE WAY HE DID ON THAT AWFUL DAY

I MET JAMES IN THE SUMMER 1962;HE WAS A SPECIAL FRIEND IN MY LIFE;HE LOVED GOD AND ALL OF HIS FAMILY.WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO MOM'S ONE CHRISTMAS,AND A DEER RAN INTO THE SIDE OF OUR CAR;JAMES AND ALLEN TRACKED THAT DEER And caught it;we loaded it on the car and went on to mom's. James I know you are up in Heaven catching all the big ones.We all miss you ;and we all will join you in Heaven when our time comes.LOVE YOU Gerl& Allen Coleman

We met when I was 12. James was my childhood sweetheart.I was only 16 when we married.After 20 years,James went to be with Jesus.This is 20 years later,2007. He will always be my first love. I suppose james is fishing and Mom is eating them.I really have no idea what heaven is like,yet I pray all my children will be there with their Dad and I.
