Va. Tech holds a very special place in our hearts. Paul was a hokie in 1975. I came to visit him from Denver the summer of 1975. I immediately fell in love with the area and without hesitation, moved back east. Blacksburg was such a well kept secret I thought. A University town tucked deep in the Appalachian Mountains. We were part of a community that we knew was very special. We rented a trailer from The Millers about 5 miles out of town on Glade Rd., in Montgomery County I worked at Montgomery county hospital. We hung out on fridays at Books Strings and Things. We were married ,and had our first child there. We are so sad about what happened on Monday, April 16th. We mourn from a distance now, but our hearts are with you there.
