James Clarence Nash began his life's journey on November 7, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and deprated this life peacefully September 7, 2007 in Aurora, Colorado with his family at his bedside. He was from a large Christian family of Calvin and Elizabeth Nash. There were 11, 8 brothers;Jewel-deceased; Johnny-deceased; Rogers-deceased; Calvin; William; Roosevelt; and Alphonso. Three sisters; Gladys; Earnestine; Madeline; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was loved by all who knew him or had only met him.
Being mentally challenged did not keep him from showing you his love. If you asked him to do anything, he would try his best to satisfy your wishes. This is something that you can't say about some people who aren't mentally challenged.
He loved being told what he better not do, because to him you were playng a game, and he loved games.
James had a pouch and whenever he got out of bed, after putting on his clothes, he would put on his pouch. This is where he kept things that were important to him.
Interestingly enough, when he went to bed, so did his pouch.
He enjoyed watching cartoons on television. His other passion was drawing. This was a God given gift and he would use it sometimes all day.
There was one time when he had been drawing all day and had left his drawings all over the floor.
When he was asked to pick them up, he didn't and after being asked again he still did not pick them up.
Finaly, the pictures were picked up and this made him very angry, and he said don't you ever touch my drawings again.
He also loved animals and especially dogs.
We know that he is drawing pictures and taking care of God's animals in heaven.

A message from the family:

"Broken Chain"
We new little that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, that day that God called you home.
You left us peaceful mermories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
