She was a homemaker. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Frederick J. in 1967; her son, Larry; her daughter, Cheryl; her two brothers, Herbert and Charles Knowlton. Edna is survived by her daughter, Robin A. DeFrank of Chittenango; four sons, Jerry F. and Timmy J. both of Central Square, Scott R. of Syracuse and Shawn M. of Fulton; her three sisters, Ida of Ohio, Betty of Buffalo and Evelyn of South Carolina; a brother, Joseph Knowlton of Brownsville; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
