Sr. William Franklin Rook Sr., 56, of Bentonville, Ark., died Monday, May 7, 2007, at his daughter's home in Bentonville, following a year long battle with esophageal cancer. He was born June 19, 1950, in Memphis, Tenn., to Chester G. (Toady) & Jeanette A. Rook. 
He was an independent wholesale auto dealer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Karon P. Rook; his mother, Jeanette A. Rook; and a sister, Vicky L. Rook.
Survivors include his father, Chester G.(Toady) Rook of Bella Vista, Ark.; a son, William F. Rook Jr. of Bentonville; a daughter, Kathryn J. Rook of Bentonville; a stepson, William Mayner of Glasgow, Ky.; two grandsons, William F. (Billy) Rook III of Memphis, TN., and Robert A. (Bobby) Rook of Bella Vista; two brothers, Ronnie A. Rook of Bentonville and Toby A. Rook of Memphis; two sisters, Cathy L. Sisk of Eads, TN., and Susan D. Tranior of Bella Vista; an aunt, Wanda Storm of Springdale, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his dog, his little buddy "CG". Karon & Frankie had no children born between them but they did have two dogs whom they considered their kids. Bubba & CG. Bubba was 16 years old when he passed away in Jan. 2007. Karon passed on April 12, 2007 and less than a month later, Frankie joined them. Little CG is being cared for by Frankie's brother Ronnie. Although they are gone they will not be forgotten, they will live on in our hearts for ever.

I miss you dear brother, I try to apply a quote I once read...Don't cry because I died, Smile because I lived. Till we are together again I'll hold tight to the memories of you I stored safely within my heart.
