God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

Personal Notes

Her toils are past.
Her work is done.
She was fully blessed.
She fought the fight,
with victory won.
and entered into rest

What a wonderful person. I miss her so much. She had a tough life but never complained or made an excuses, just used what she knew to make a life for herself and Marie. She was always there for support and guidance from begining to end. She lives on in us all. Mom Dot treated everyone like family. I was hanging around for YEARS before Marie and I got married (or even dated for that matter, "just friends" we said are we a little slow or what??? *SMILE*) Had many a meal that she prepared. Thank God she taught Marie how to cook!! She loved her family and her BINGO. I have many wonderful memories because she blessed my life. (and I have her daughter as my wife!) Life is good!
