Dad was a strong willed and strong man who loved his children, and wife Gertrude Mills Carnes.  He was a hard worker on his farm and at his public job at Figgie International in Monroe.  Dad was loved by all and had dozens of folks he could call good friends.  Dad left us very suddenly the day after a fall and strike to his head the day before his death. May God in heaven look over him and mom and give them special work in heaven as they wait for us to come join them at our time.
