Mama, how do we say goodbye? How do we begin? What do we say? And what words do we use at all when we are consumed with an unbearable grief. Saying goodbye to a mum so caring at this juncture in our lives is the hardest thing we ever have to come to terms with.
One can only have one mother and rightly so when she is caring, loving and understanding. Indeed when other friends forsake you, to mother you will return for all her kindness and she ask for nothing in return.
Mama, you forsook all your personal comfort for the sake of our future. Notwithstanding your meager income as a trader, you made sure we had a good education. And as we look upon your mortal remains sweet memories we recall, of a face so full of sunshine and smile for all and all.

Today our hearts are full of sadness, yet at the same time of joyful hope and profound gratitude and these are the sentiments that inspire us into the future. Mama you were a family woman and really loved us and cared for our future to the very end.
