Brittney Ann Fuson died February 8, 2003, sustaining injuries from a car accident. She was the daughter of Bill and Patty. She is survived by her brother, Blake and sister Paige. Brittney was a senior at Oakland High School and an honor student planning to graduate a year early.
In addition to a busy academic schedule, Brittney was a captain for the cheerleading squad her freshman year, a member of the Oakland Halftimers for 2 years and a member of the newly formed Oakland Hip Hoppers, especially talented in choreography. She was also actively involved in the theater arts department at Oakland High School. Brittney attended Fellowship United Methodist Church.
She had been accepted for the 2003-2004 class at the University of Tennessee and MTSU. No matter what, this wonderful girl always had a big smile on her face. Her smile lit up the room. We love and mis her so much.

*Please, don't drink and drive. Brittney's death was in result to drinking and driving and not wearing a seat belt. We love Brittney, and we love everyone else, so please, buckle up and PLEASE don't drive drunk! One person's death can make a big difference in people's lives, so if you know someone has been drinking, drive them home or wherever they need to go. Don't let them drive themselves, and always make sure you BUCKLE UP!!!!
