Personal Notes

God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be. He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

Dad, I miss your words. I miss your humor.
I miss watching sports with you. I miss having a beer with you as you tell me our team is going to lose and why. I hated when you were right. I wish I could hear you be right just one more time. I miss those times.
Dad... I miss you.
In my heart and thoughts I'll always have a glass set aside for you right next to mine as I watch those games. Cheers to you Father.
