Billy!! Where do I Start!? We have had some crazy times, you and me! But the thing that meant the most to me was that you were always there for me when times were not so good and i never got to tell you how amazing you really were. This has hit all of us in a very scare and heart stopping way. I know now that my time and life here may be limited. I plan and aim to make the most of what I can while I am here. Mr. Vernon has made such and impact on mine along with many others lives. He is love by many and will be greatly missed. Thanks for everything that you taught me while you were here. He not only taught me what I needed to know in the classroom but what I need to know and use in real life, and I am thankful for that.

hey mr vernon whats goin on nothin much here. school went by fast and it wasnt the same with out you. Summer has been in for a month now and baseball has been going on. dang those cardinals always first place ha ha ..cubs will catch them (eventually) turns out derek lee is better than albert pujols (this year) i'm goin to concord next year. i wish i was goin back to phs. i'll always remember you for as long as i live and try to be as nice as you and as carrying.

I can't begin to tell you how much the kids and I miss you. There's been an addition to the family, yes, I'm a grandpa now. The little one finally made it to high school and I know you'd be proud of how he turned out. Playing the big 3...football, basketball, and baseball.
