You will always live in my heart and in my mind. Everyday I see you looking back at me in the eyes of our handsome son. I will remember you forever, and love you as long. Rest in peace.

"What the heart has once owned and had,
it shall never lose."

Henry Ward Beecher

Say not in grief he is no more
but live in thankfulness that he was

Hebrew proverb

"It ended...
With his body changed to light,
A star that burns for ever in that sky".

Aztec - American Indian

"It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree.
The wounds remain.
In time, the mind, (protecting its sanity),
covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens.
But, it is never gone."

Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy

Personal Notes

Death comes, leaving a hollow hole in the lives of those who remain. With a broken heart, we struggle with the heavy veils of mourning.
Eventually, hope appears, weaving tiny threads of possibility through our days.
Some say grief never ends. It only changes and and turns direction with time. For those who wait in mourning, the morning may never come as it did once upon a time......but it does come.

Fading softly
into my imagination
delicate fingers of sweet memories
tenderly wrapping
themselves around my conciousness

Powerful images
of you full of life
smiling sunshine
into my grayest moods
breathing joy into my darkened soul
you're alive in my dreams

Senseless reality
full of mournful tears
that once flowed free
for life cut too short
by careless violence
bullets shattering
so much more
than just your fragile humanity.

Miss your Harvey... R.I.P.
