Angelique was a soft-hearted, fun loving woman who loved her husband, Calvin, and her children, Luka and Liann, with all her being.

Her years on the island of Hawai'i, working beside Calvin in the macadamia nut orchards, was the happiest time of her life.

After Calvin's passing, Angelique connected with a long-lost brother she had never met. Her joy at this reunion was heartening.

Although she was struggling with facing life without Calvin, it seemed that she would march on.

In the late part of October 2005 and November of that year, she went back into depression. Her daughter and son, who were on the mainland at that time, tried to convince her to get to a hospital for counseling.

Sadly, the loss of Calvin to cancer in 2004 proved more than Angelique's tormented soul could bear. In the early hours of November 21, 2005, she shot herself, leaving her family and many friends in shock.

The world lost an old and loving soul that day. She was full of laughter, non-judgemental, and kind beyond measure. It is our fervent prayer that she would find comfort within the arms of her Eternal Father. I pray that He would forever show her the type of kindness she shared with so many the short time she walked the earth.

God bless you, little one. The angels in the background of this web page graphically represent the meaning of your name, Angelique, little angel. You were, and are, loved more than you could ever know.
