This memorital is to my grandson Justin Allen Monroe, can you believe it will be 8 years in Nov.? i can!! It still feels like yesterday my grandson was taken from our family by someone so careless, and an idiot. Justin was born March 27,1983 to my daughter Robin Dawn Monroe,and Steven Monroe. to fallow had two siblings one older brother Corry Allen Monroe, and one younger sister Krystal Marie Monroe,Two grandparents Carol and Wes Jones. by the dumb actions from what this ignorant person did to our family Justin now has Three nephews he'll never be able to, laugh with,spoil, or even LOVE!! oldest nephew is 3 (colyn),2(landon),2months(Owen). Now let me tell you a little bit about my grandson Justin. He was 15 years old and had nothing but heart, loved to make anyone feel at home comfortable in any situation. He played hockey since he was 5years old, for the Waterloo Junior Hawks. Justin played alot of jokes on people, and telling jokes thats who he was. He was one hell of a leader!! grant it him and his older had thier differences thats brothers for ya, but everyone loved Justin. Night of November 25,1998 Justin and his brother and his friends stole a hunting gun and a bow from Janesville,Ia..Justin and his brother,sister and 3 friends. were all just hanging out at the house while Wes and I (grandparents) went to Bingo. No worries we always left them home while we went to Bingo for the most part responisble. couple of friends sitting on the computer. Krystal and Matt (friend) were sitting on the chair next to Justin while Justin was asleep on the couch. Corry was walking towards the kitchen and Paul (so called friend) came walking out of the bedroom with the gun they stole (50' Cal.) and pointed the gun point blank over my grandson's body and told Justin Look,look Justin and shot him in the back of his head. Killed him instantly, Wes and i got a phone called from bingo telling us Justin had been shot so we rushed to the hospital thinking he was there no sign of my grandson anywhere. went home and seen nothing but cop cars, and police,news casters. Corry and his younger sister were at the police station giving statements along with thier 2 friends. and Paul the guy who killed my grandson was taken police station then to the detention center. Well, we pulled up Robin,Justin's mom ran up and said Justin has been killed. everyone was standing around while our grandson was laying in our house and we not being able to help him he was helpless and dead.
