She met Melvin Butler and they married in 1941 in Or. She worked for 20yrs as a manager for kempers Drive in in Yakima Washington. Grandma Loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved planting flowers and doing her needle work and bakeing. Her family was her life especialy her grandchildren and great grand children. She was always their to listen to our problems and tell you what she though, but never got mad if you didnt take her advice. She would go with out so that we could have more. You could ask her to help you with something and she always did it with a smile even if it was something she didnt want to really be doing at that time, and she never asked for anything in return. she loved with her whole heart. Never once in all the time she was sick or down did she complain, she always worried about others before herself even up to the end she was more concerned about us then herself. Grandma had a ruff live in her 84 years but she was strong and made it threw and always made the best of things with a smile on her face Grandma gave so much of herself to others and that will be missed by all who knew her, she touch so many peoples lifes durring her time here. She was the best cook never buying pre made noodles or pies they were always made from scratch by her loveing hands. She always had an open shoulder for you to cry on when you were down. God sure new what he was doing when he created her I couldnt have picked a better grandma if I was given the chance. If I could have one more day with her I would hold her and tell her again how much she means to me and how much I love here. their will never be anyone like her she was a one of a kind. But god called her home to be with him. So now she is out of pain and with grandpa again. She may be gone but she still lives on threw all who new and loved her, and she will never be forgotton, and she will always be loved. (Grandma you will always be in my heart and my thoughts and I will love you always and forever. your grandson Mark)
