My Mother... My Friend... My Hero...
Mom was the moon, stars and sky all in one. Her smile, her hair, her laugh, her memory gives me warmth. My brother and I will never know another woman so caring, funny, wise and loving. A special hug that can take away all worries, a smile that will make your day, and love that takes away all fear and hurt. She is missed more and more every day. Although she was only a grandma for a short time, she was the best. She always welcomed our friends with open arms. A lady who's personality attracts friendship and love. There is not enough space on this page to describe the love we had, and miss. She was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma and lost the battle a year later. She never cried about being sick. She was strong. She had faith, hope and courage. That is why on one of her last days with me, I held her hand and said "You are my hero" she replied with a smile, "you are mine". That was her way, always giving. Open heart, open mind. Told us to never settle for less than the best. My brother and I have memories of love, laughter, lazy days and movie marathons. She will be missed, and remembered for ever. To you mom, for everything you were and everything you made us. You will never be forgotten. Love always, your baby girl XOXOXO
