What courage you had, and shared.. what an inspiration you were/are.

May every angel, guide you to a place, where your hair is again, full, your heart is filled with love, there is no more chemo or pain, and a smile always shines in your heart and eyes..

When I exit this life, may I go as grace-filled as you, sweet woman. <3

My heart is sad today. You touched me and so many others with your strength and your love. You will be missed.

I hope your own wish comes true "that we will come to respect all spiritual paths and learn compassion for all people." Thanks for being the change you wanted to see.

I raise a glass to a Witch of may gifts, who saw deep into the flame of the Earth and sang truly with the Goddess!

Susan, even though we met only a few times, you touched my life profoundly. I admire your courage, grace, depth, spirit and gorgeous voice. May you be returning on the North Wind.... Blessed be, and merry meet again.

Susan-

I celebrate
the vibrancy of your life
your spirit continues
Illuminating
the path you are walking
your companions
a song, bountiful grace,
a full satchel of honor...
bushels of radiant laughter
and the well-guided
spirts of your children

I simply
celebrate knowing you....

I knew Susan primarily through her wonderful, soulful singing, in the Unity in Marin choir. Her solo "Amazing Grace" with the choir singing a combination of Buddhist and African chants accompanying her yet brings me to tears, and the recording barely does it justice. Sunday's two Unity services honored Susan with the choir minister singing a song Susan wrote about Mary Magdalene. Thanks to those bringing folks together to honor this good soul.

16 years on and I still miss you so much. You were such a bright light. Forever sisters.
