Derik was our beautiful Grandson. We loved him so very much! He was the "love" of our lives. He loved coming here while on his summer vacation and on holidays. We have several exotic birds and his favorite one was "Gabby". He loved to mimic his screeching sounds. He to play ball with our dog named "Tippy" He also loved our other dog named 

"Bandit". We had gotten an electric scooter, swimming pool, and basketball hoop for him to have something to do while here that last summer of his life. He loved that electric scooter. He would ride it around the drive until it lost it'ss charge. He loved to go swimming and play basketball too. He loved to talk about things that mattered to him. He love the "super" heros. His favorite ones where the "Hulk, and Spiderman" He loved "Jesus" and his Christian school that he attended. He had a sister named Tiffany. They would always play together and loved to put on skits and have them video taped. He loved his family! He would go hunting with his Dad and play video games with him. He loved his Mom. She would fix his favorite foods for him. He had an Uncle Brian, whom he thought was "cool". He loved coming here to ride his 4-wheeler around the yard. He had a cousin named Taryn whom he loved playing with. She was only 4 years old, but, he really liked her. We will miss him dearly for the rest of our lives. Life will not ever be the same without our precious Grandson in it. Until we see you again in Heaven. We miss you very much and love you! Grandma and Pappy Swick
