Personal Notes

Shannon taught me so much and she teaches me even in death. She taught me to find joy in life and to face death with grace. She taught me how to be tolerant and how to laugh at myself. She taught me to never stop searching and how to see the glass as half full. I have now seen real courage and am humbled to have been part of her life.

Shannon was a great teacher. She was very blunt, if you were doing something she didn't like she would tell you. that may have thrown some people off, but I liked her from the start. even when she was feeling ill, she always had a smile on her face. I too learned so much from her in the short amount of time I was her student. She will always be in my heart.
