Calieb was born July 21, 2008 at 12:41 PM. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20 inches long. Calieb was born with eight different congenital heart defects. He had his first surgery at about 5 hours old. He had open heart surgery. They had to do a pybass. On his second day the doctor's told us that they did not think he would live through the day. By that afternoon he was improving at a fast rate. On the third day when I walked into his room the doctors and nurses were smiling. That day they did a procedure and cleaned around his heart. He continued to improve. On the fourth day he opened his eyes and looked at me and daddy. He also held onto our hands. On his fifth day he was taking breaths on his own. He was so very precious to all of us. Calieb died on July 26, 2008 at 8:40 PM. We do not know the reason yet. 



Calieb was named after his two grandfather's Edward and Irwin: EDWIN. His Uncle DALE who died the day he was born and his daddy ALAN.
