Born in Toronto Ontario died at Orangeville Ontario at the age of 76. After many years battling the cruel disease of MS. Robert Allan was wed to Alma Starling Freeman on April 26, 1952. They shared 56 devoted years together. He ate his christmas dinner Dec 25, 2008 and went to sleep with thoughts of a long wonderful life and a devoted sweet wife. Surrounded by family he slipped away into the arms of Jesus. May he rest from his sufferings until that trumpet sounds and all shall rise again in Paradise. All shall be united again in God's loving kindness. Beloved husband to Alma Starling Freeman Allan. His 6 children Nancy, Robert, Sue, Jan, Glenn and Donald. Many grand children will miss there Poppa very much. Survived by his wife Alma, 14 grand children and his first great grand child. 1 grandchild Thomas had already gone ahead in 1981 to await the Poppa he never knew.
