Karen was not only a mother but a wonderful grandmother, a sister , aunt, daughter, and a loving wife !!! Words can not describe what a great mother Josh and I had! Her departure has left an emptiness in all of our hearts. Some memories we have of her might bring the whole family comfort in this tragic time .We all can appreciate mom (Karen ) walking through the door with the mashed potatoes and iced tea at all of the holidays (better late than never ). She loved her Dayton Flyer basket ball so much. At times we thought she was on the team !! We will never forget the love she had for animals. Especially her many cats that she took care of and loved dearly. I will never forget her smiling face and friendly wave. We all agree Karen was here with us entirely too short of a time but I personally can not think of a better woman for me to have called mother !!! If I am half the person that she was I will consider my life truly blessed. Rainbow Screen Printing never had an order go unfinished. She loved her work and was so dedicated to her customers. I can not tell you all of the nice things customers had to say about her!! Kaili and Cameron truly loved their Grams. She always had such a playful disposition with her grandchildren and such a special bond with Kaili. She always said "remember you are Gram's girl ". Karen was so dedicated to her family she was always full of jokes and never too serious. She always could make you laugh!! I personally remember mom and aunt Joan talking in their country twang or her and uncle Dave's Kernel Sanders joke( chicken legs ) . I will never forget my mother rushing off to the hospital to be with Dianne the night Amanda was born. She was determind to be right there for Dianne. So many memories, so little time !!
