He was a rare academic material in his field, a cherished colleague, a father and a true friend, who loves for others what he loves for himself. Prof. G.A. Chibuzo was selfless and detribalized in his thinking, and so was his approach to issues. He taught us to say “No” when the answer should be “No”, and the virtues of righteousness and humility, hard work and perseverance, dexterity and nimbleness. He was actively engaged in teaching and research in the areas of Gross Anatomy, clinical Neurology, Functional Neuroanatomy and Comparative Anatomy in the last 28years. He taught with passion and agility, and for those of us who were his former students, we are living testimonies to this acclamation.
