A beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, Richard was born on July 4, 1944 in New York City.

Charming, caring, courageous, comical, creative are only a few words of many to describe my father/best friend. I've learned so much from you throughout life and will continue to learn from you as you will forever be in my heart and in my memories. I love you so much Dad and one day we will reunite. Love always Richie

Father, throughout the 28 years, 11 months and 3 days that I knew you on Earth, I've learned countless life-lessons from your wisdom. I appreciate everything I've ever learned from you, with one of my favorite lessons being acceptance of who I am, and allowing myself to just be "me". I will continue to apply everything you taught me throughout my life. I love you forever always, and will carry you in my heart. I miss you dearly and will see you in heaven when my time comes.

My husband, Richard, and I have an awesome relationship. I say "have" because our love is alive and will be forever. Through thick and thin, good times and bad, we always loved one another in the truest sense. I know that I am fortunate to have found that kind of love in my lifetime and I owe it all to my loving husband Richard.

Richard, You will always hold a piece of my heart. Great memories of your friendly smile and kind words. May your family and friends find PEACE in knowing the universe has taken you to a restful place. Loving thoughts of you always.

There are some people who have the genuine gift of making you feel that you're special. Richard was one of those people.

After almost 40 years, he still greeted me with a hug, a smile, and a twinkle in his eye. He always made me feel like part of his family, and I will truly miss him.

Until we meet again... goodbye old friend.

Wish heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice. I thought of you today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and pictures in frames. Your memories are keepsakes from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart.

The role of an uncle…To me…
Like a father~Full of guidance,love & support
Like a brother~Fun,playful & protective
Always on my side
Teaching me…Jogging,cooking,&games
Always done in stride
Indeed,a man who knew the value of family,
And demonstrated that value everyday
The love & lessons he taught
They will never be forgot
So thoughtful, never to miss a birthday
Or holiday with a card or a call to say,
“Hello, how are you” or just “I love you”
Those selfless acts will be missed most of all
I said “See ya tomorrow”
But tomorrow doesn’t come
Like an endless math problem
There is no sum
I thought it was a game
You told me you were done
It will never be the same
I am thankful for our fun
Your days have ended
As mine still go
Even though I hope and pray
Never again,to you,will I be able to say…
As I can still see the smile on your face
You mean the world to me
Fun times and memories will never erase
I’ll make you proud, you'll see
I love you My Dear Uncle
