Sable was a wonderfully loving dog. She was with us for over ten beautiful years, and made our lives that much more special because she was with us. Sable was a friendly, protective pet who loved to go on walks to the valley and play in the backyard. She loved all visitors once she got used to them being there - especially men. She was extremely obedient and won two trophies for best behaved dog in her obedience class. She loved to eat carrots, cheese and bits of steak, whenever she was allowed. She was scared of thuderstorms and would stick by you like glue during one. Sable was our first and only family pet and will always be remembered. We put her to sleep due to an untreatable tumour in her sinus cavity, but she will be with us always. Even during her last quiet days with us, she still managed to be a happy, loving pet to all of us. We will miss her greatly.
