Notes and messages

Steven was a beautiful boy with a beautiful family. Dave and Lisa, thank you for sharing him with us all.

Sara T., Usborne consultant in MN, 16 July 2004

Steven is a bright light, both here and in Heaven. The response of all of you, including Steven, to his illness was amazing.

I hope he's having fun now with his Grandma and his Jorg great-grandparents, and the rest of the family already there. I will see you tomorrow, and I will see Steven someday.

Much love,
Tracey

Dave, Lisa, Meredith and Emma,
What a truly amazing family you are. Thank you so much for sharing Steven's life with us. I have been deeply affected by his courageous life and by your incredible faith. My heart goes out to each of you.

Shelley Sanders-Gregg, Usborne consultant, St. L., 17 July 2004

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I have followed Steven's journey and I commend ALL of you for your bravery and honesty. My daughter has a terminal illness and I fear that someday my family will have to experience what you have faced. Thank you for showing me how graceful and beautiful it is to share every moment with your children, even if it isn't forever. Thank you again...

Lisa Delzeit, Usborne Supervisor, 19 July 2004

Thanks you so much for sharing Steven's life with me. I believe that I am a better parent after following your letters the last couple of years. My heart is breaking for your family right now, but I know that Steven is happy and feels wonderful.

Dave, Lisa, Meredith, and Emma....you all have truly been an amazing inspiration to me. I have followed Steven's story from the beginning and I am forever changed because of him. He was such a blessing to everyone he met, I'm sure. He will definitely be remembered for the sweet little boy he was. He is watching over you now and pain free! My God continue to bless your wonderful family. Love, in Christ

Thank you for sharing Steven's story with us! I was so touched by him. Even with such a short life, he touched more people than most of us touch in a lifetime.
