CALDWELL - Janet Marie(Yerian)Dotson, 59, of Maple Avenue died at 12:37 a.m. Thursday (July 17, 2003).
She was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Marietta to Laura Anna Yerian McBride. She was the granddaughter of the late Walter and Goldie Yerian. She had been employed at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed working with her flowers and talking to her friends on the telephone.
She was married to James K. Dotson, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Ivan Patterson of Marietta, Richard H. Worstell and his wife, Kristin, of Marietta, and James L. Worstell and his wife, Amanda, of Caldwell; two daughters, Connie Prunty and her husband, Dan, of Belle Valley and Kimberly Fox and her husband, Daniel, of Spencer, W.Va.; her special friend, Jeff Mizik of Caldwell; nine grandchildren, Ivan Patterson, Ian Patterson, Abigail Worstell, Austin Guiler, Hope Worstell, Faith Worstell, Megan Touvell, Scottie Fox and Chelsi Fox; two brothers, Ronnie McBride and Walter McBride of Marietta; two sisters, Carolyn Hurst of Marietta and Goldie Davis of Marietta; and several nephews and nieces.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Marietta with the Rev. Bruce Kent officiating. Burial is in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown.
