I met Elsie when she was 101 years old. She was a resident of mine at an Assisted Living Facility. From the moment I met her I knew I was going to hold her very dear to me. As the days went by we spent more and more time together. She told me stories aboout her life and I told her some of mine but hers were far more better to tell then mine. She told me of her husband Hue and then Albert. She told me how they loved to hunt in the northen woods and often spoke of Harshens Island. She loved bannana cookie and she baked alot. She also talked alot of her nephews and nieces. Elsie was a very special lady to me and many others. She was a hard worker all her life and when it was time to quit it broke her heart. She loved to farm and she loved to tell the stories. The time Elsie was in my life seemed all to brief but we created memories that will last a lifetime. She was my buddy and my pal. I love you forever angel.
