Maria was a very warm, happy person. She was a wonderful friend, Mother and Grandma. Maria had a way of making everyone smile and happy around her. She was such a caring friend and was always willing to help in any way she could. She had some tough times in her life but she made it thru all the bad times and moved to Maine from Massachusetts to have a better life. She finally bought a home and was happy. She found a job at a canoe company and was on her way to work when a drunk driver came into Maria's lane. She tried to avoid the oncoming car but she couldn't get away. Maria died instantly at 41 years old of massive head injuries. Maria left behind many many friends and 4 children Alisha, Jessica, Shayne and Seth. She was the Sister of  Louis, Edward, Michael and Elizabeth Vieira. Daughter of Antonio and Maria (Carreiro) Vieira, Grandchild Marrissa and a loving boyfriend Mark Hancock who shared her life for 8 years.
