Smudgie was a small cat with a huge personality! When she was young she loved to go for evening walks. As a family pet, if any of us would walk up the street, she was sure to follow.. she didn't care where it led her. She was rather partial to concrete.. not tarmac.. just concrete. If she saw a patch of concrete outdoors, she would run up to it for a quick roll over. She enjoyed licking Polo mints until they had disintegrated and LOVED aftershave and perfumes. If you was wearing any scent, she would come up and lick you to death! Smudge was a very petite, who never looked like an adult cat. People who first met her always assumed she was still growing. She was a very clean house cat and her white "socks" were always spotless! Cupboards, boxes, sheds, bags.. if she could access them, she would jump right in! She loved to sleep in small shoeboxes. She wasn't a shy cat, in fact she was quite nosey, always coming to closely inspect any house visitors and jump onto their laps for some attention. It was only within the last couple of months of her life that Smudge really aged and became ill. In all her 18 years of life, she was never any bother, never got ill, was as fit as a fiddle.
