My mother raised 3 kids with such love and giving. Mom was raised on a farm in Kansas where she milked cows and worked hard on the family farm.My mother was my best friend who was always there when I needed her. I called her everyday and always told her I loved her.The last day of her life we had spent with her little 3 year old great grandson Ethan Moran.Mom loved Ethan and spent every day
with him flollowing him around the house and playing with him.The day was like any other day it was beautiufl and the my yard full of fall colors. Mom sat on the porch watching Ethan run and play on the green grass. Mom joined in crawling along beside Ethan. We then went to her house to feed her animals. Ethan had so much fun feeding the cow, donkeys and chickens with grandmother. Mom was going to spend the night with me but said she would go home because she was getting up early to have her hair done in Roseburg. The next day while I was at my daughter Rebeccas house Dad called her and said Mom was dead. This can't happen I thought as I screamed and cried not my mom.I drove fast to her house to find Dad crying and mom laying on the couch. I covered her face with a blanket because I knew she would not want anyone to see her like that.If only I could have hugged her and told her how much I loved her but I know she knew this.My whole life now is upside down and I cry and feel so alone with out her.My mom has always been ther for me and at 60 years old I was still her little girl.I know she has gone to be with the Lord and I will be with her again but here on earth there is a big hole in my heart and a deep hurt inside me.
This all seems like a bad nightmare and I will wake up and it won't be true.I miss my Mom the most wonderful woman who ever walked this earth.
