Shawn was one of a kind! If you ever met her, you definatly wouldn't forget her! She could simply walk in a room and not only brighten the room, but everyone in it as well. Shawn was fun to be around. If you were in a bad mood all you had to do was be around Shawn for 5 minutes and that all changed!! Shawn married Jerry Beaty June 14, 1984 in Dallas, Texas. She has one son, Jason. She loved life and all of the friends she met and made all over the world! She will be greatly missed, but you can't help but smile when you think about her, because that is the kind of person she was....one that could always put a smile on everyones face!!!

"Until We Meet Again"

When dawn's first light turned into day,
Who knew an angel would soon call me away.
And though I didn't get the chance to say goodbye,
I leave you three things to help you get by.
I leave you COURAGE that you might see your heart
can rebuild a world without me.
I leave you FAITH that you might believe the
spirit will survive no matter how much we grieve.
And I leave you LOVE to comfort you in it's
healing embrace until we meet again in another
place.

Personal Notes

Shawn, I know I didn't get to see you often, but I will treasure the times I did. You were the sunshine in every day!! I will miss you terribly.
Watch over us and guide us, until we meet again.

Shawnie, What will this world do without you? There was never a time when we were together that we didn't have fun. Every time you called to say you were coming by, (on your way to pick up Jerry at the airport) it brightened my day. And as usual, you came in like a tornado and left like a tornado...and were still late!!!! Your zest for life and your energy was contagious. I know you'll still be with me in my heart and memories forever!

From Jimmy Buffett's book, A Salty Piece of Land: "Grief is like the wake behind a boat. It starts out as a huge wave that follows close behind you and is big enough to swamp and drown you if you suddenly stop moving forward. But if you do keep moving, the big wake will eventually dissipate. And after a long enough time, the waters of yur life get calm again, and that is when the memories of those who have left begin to shine as bright and as enduring as the stars above."

What a breath of fresh air you were! AND still in my heart. I will miss your smile and contagious attitude on life. You will always be a part of my life. There will never be another like you.
