Three guys with one dream...to serve their country and proudly they did...Eric was the first...a car accident took him from us...and although I didn't know him personally I felt the pain Carebear went through...Finally things were looking up...Matt helped Colin surprise Carebear with a proposal...Marriage in June 2005...Carebear loved Colin so much...but as fate would be December 2004 Colin met the same demise as Eric...yet again another car accident...I never thought Carebear would cope...Derrick, who had argued with Colin the day of that fatal accident, couldn't help the guilt he felt...and in Iraq in January he shot himself...The sorrow for these three friends...but there is one name I have yet to mention...the one survivor of the 4 male amigos...Matt...man he is a great guy...has always been there for Carebear...so this memorial is not for Colin or Derrick or even Eric...it is for the survivors...Carebear and Matt and the families of those tragically taken from us too early...may the memories of those beloved men remain forever... Matt, Carebear...be strong...I love you
