Mr. Fred Allen Trivette Sr., 83, of Boonville died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Trivette was born July 18, 1921, in Yadkin County, to Terry Vance and Ethel Frazier Trivette. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a retired tobacco farmer and brick mason. Affectionately known as Papa T. to his grandchildren, he always had chewing gum handy for them. Mr. Trivette was an avid fisherman, especially carp fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pearl Ashley Trivette; a brother, Ralph Trivette; and a sister, Percie Jester. Surviving are three children, Terry Trivette Enyart and husband Richard of Boonville, Fred A. Trivette Jr. and wife Rena of Yadkinville, and Baine Ashley Trivette and wife Cindy of Boonville; two stepchildren, Robert Samuel Keaton of Boonville and Peggy Leigh Beamer of Yadkinville; 10 grandchildren, Megan Bryant, Scott Trivette, Laurie Trivette, Samuel Trivette, Dickie Lee Williams, Curtiss Williams, Jennifer Preston, Starfall Brown, Heather Bunnell and Shane Keaton; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Lois Hobson of Boonville and Virginia Hanner of California; and a brother, Glen Trivette of Boonville. The Trivette family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 11, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at Boonville Baptist Church by the Rev. Ken Boaz. Mr. Trivette will lie in state from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Boonville Cemetery after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boonville Baptist Church, P.O.
