John Ritter knew about celebrity even as a child. His father, the late Tex Ritter, already was a legendary singing-cowboy film star by the tine John was born, and Tex's wife, Dorothy Fay (Southworth) Ritter, was a former actress who would later become the official greeter at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. John's older brother, Tom, became a practicing attorney, triumphing over cerebral palsy.

Many know John as Jack Tripper from Threes Company. Many people thought that Threes Company was his first job, ever. Well, you're wrong. John was on The Dating Game, and he had a recurring role on The Waltons. Well, there is lots more I can say about this genius, but, I don't want to bore you.
