He will be remembered as a person who LOVED basketball and his family. He coached many teams and was such a kind person. His smile would brighten a room and he was always there.



Police have arrested a 25-year-old Albany man for the shooting death of Xavier McDaniel, Jr. back on April 3rd. The former Schenectady High football player was found slumped over in his parked car with a gunshot wound to his chest. Police have now arrested Omari Lee for the crime after he was injured in another shooting and taken to Albany Medical Center. Police said the two men knew each other, but they have not determined a motive for the crime at this point.
