Franseska "Franses, Fran" was born June 5th, 1986 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Margina Calderon-Benitez & Eduardo Benitez. An active child full of life and energy she grew into a teenager she attended Antilles High School where she was an accomplished athlete star of the softball team and basketball team. Franseska  graduated in 2004. After graduating High School she relocated to Brooklyn, New York where she attended college for a degree in the Medical field. In early 2006 she was introuduced to Issac Colon the couple later married in April of 2007. Then things took a turn for the worst one month later when Issac shot Franses and then turned the gun on himself killing him instantly. 

Franses battled for her life for weeks but finally our Puerto Rican angel grew tired. Her battle was lost on the 19th day of June 2007. Weeks after welcoming the 21st year into her life. That was the day I lost my sister and my only friend. My heart will weep forever.
