Russell A. Staker, 70, of Peoria died at 8:28 a.m. Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 at this residence in Peoria. Mr. Staker attended Bradley University in Peoria and graduated with a Master's Degree in Engineering. Mr. Staker worked at Caterpillar Incorporated as an engineer, and retired from there in 2000. He was a member of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts, the Antique Dealers Association of Illinois, and affiliated with the Pekin Jaycees. He was listed in the Who's Who of Illinois in 1956. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandy, and two children, Chris and Todd. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers or cards, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
