Ken my deepest condolences to you, Lee and Michael.
I shall remember Theresia for the great love she had for her family, her sense of humour and her funny but true stories. I always left her company with a smile on my face and a few stories to tell...
Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
Roger, Becky & Aleks.

Theresia was one of the most generous, loving, thoughtful people I knew. Always there with the advice whether I wanted it or not. I loved her very much and will miss her dearly for the rest of my life. The pain of her loss is indescribable. My thoughts are with you all Ken, Michael and Lee. Love you all,
Debbie, Mike, Cody, Brandon and Grayson

I never knew anyone as passionate about everything as you Theresia from the way you noticed some stray branch on the ground and wanted to make it into something to the way you shopped, cooked, decorated, love your family. You were passionate about everything and you made a day grocery shopping seem like an amusement park. Always experiencing things like it was the first time and sharing in your joy. You made me laugh when you laughed and smile when you smiled and your heart was a mile long. You will never know how deeply you were loved and how profoundly you will be missed.
You're in my heart forever and I'm deeply saddened by you being gone. I know Emily will want to add to this but I wanted to put something here from me alone as I sit and think of you.
Love you always and miss you already.

We are saddened and shocked to hear of Theresia's sudden passing. She will always be remembered as a loving, fun and generous person who was taken from us way to soon. Her sudden passing serves as a reminder to those of us left behind that life is precious and to love one another everyday. Ken, Michael and Lee, it was clear to all who knew Theresia that you all were deeply loved by her, and that she was very proud of the lives you lead together. Take comfort in knowing that she will be missed by all.
With our most heartful condolences and love, Frank, Danielle, Michelle and Andrew Hackenberger

It’s with deep sadness that we send our heartfelt condolences to you Ken, Lee and Michael.
Theresia was a remarkable unique woman and words simply cannot express what she meant to us all.
She was extremely proud of her family and was motherly to us all.
Theresia was one of the most caring and generous individuals I have ever encountered in my life. She had a way to make each of us feel very special and we always looked forward to her visits. She was very in tune to people’s emotions, feelings and it was so easy to talk to her. Her corky sense of humour will forever live in our hearts. Although it is with regret that we didn’t speak as often as we should have, I’ll miss our long chats about just about everything in life..... Theresia was a wonderful friend and aunt and she will be sorely missed.
We send our love, kisses and hugs. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Until I heard the sad news of her passing, I never once considered that she would not be on this earth forever. She will live on in the hearts and minds of anyone that knew her.
Every person in our family has a little bit of Theresia in them. If we look in the mirror we can all see the resemblances. But we would all be lucky to resemble her inside, her intellect, her witt and her passion.
Even though I knew her all my life. I wish I had known her more.
Rest well Theresia

Every once in a while you meet someone whose warmth of heart and generosity of spirit makes you believe in blessed human beings. Theresia was one such person. We didn't spend many hours or days together but her humor and disarmingly engaging ways will be with me always. Much love and heartfelt condolences to the family for whom the loss is immeasurable.

We were going to meet up with Theresa and Lee.
next month in London.
I was so excited, just the thought of seeing lovely Therese again.
That was how Theresa left everybody she met, you just wanted to see more of her.
She was not only beautiful on the outside ,but just as
beautiful on the inside.
The kindest, warmest, funniest, cleverest lady, who will
be so missed, but thank you for the memories Theresa we will cherish them forever.
Rest in Peace
The Durante Family, 3 February 2011
Folowing her wish, cremation completed 4 days later and the ashes will stay in our house forever. This was the most difficult task we had and now we are not able to stop the tears that still flow. Looking around the house at every location, there are bits that only she could save, plus reminders of 25 years in Europe in all her clothing (saved all for decades) and furniture and nic-nacs throughout. Also she had the most unique way of safeguarding everything from her personal past (growing up in Hungary after the war )as well as all our family events over ther decades.
Lee and Michael are trying to recover but as they were always like twins - or triplets with her, but the wound is too deep. As for me, recovery will not be possible, and life in this museum type home will seem intolerable in many ways. We three are closer than ever, yet all due to the most unique, personable and caring person that I was so lucky to be able to hang onto.
Your continued closeness will help.

To the Magiday family,
While I never formally met your mom/wife...I do know her. I know Michael, your brother/son. Thank you for my friend. I trust his strength, humor, smarts and werewithal runs deep throughout the family. May you all be blessed with peace of mind throughout.
Peace, rest and loving memories in support of your Mom/Mum.
Regards,
Suzanne Coyle

Dear Ken, Lee and Micheal
I was extremely saddened to hear of Theresia’s passing and shall miss her kindness, her wonderful laugh and the warmest affectionate hugs when we met up in London or Provence. I spoke to her last summer 2010 and we reminisced about our last meeting in Sept 2005, which were happy and sad times all rolled into one. My sincere hope is that Theresia and Maman have found each other and are watching over us their loved ones, who will always miss them dreadfully.
May Theresia Rest in Peace

It is amazing that while we never lived close together, I have so many fond memories of our families together when growing up. Whether it was when you all visited our family in Toronto and going to Niagra Falls together or when we visited you all in Belgium and visiting the Mannequin Pis, eating pomme frite or lighting fire crackers off in your back yard in Belgium too close to my ear. But even more special was the time when I spent the summer working in Nottingham and spending weekends with you all in London or your visit to California. She was always such a warm, caring and giving person, not to mention an excellent cook. For some reason, while writing this I am remembering eating an awesome Peking Duck meal at your home on Marylebone Road. She will be truly missed. Barb’s, my and the rest of the Mitgang family’s thoughts go out to you all.

THE MEMORIES ARE STILL HAUNTING AND UNFORGETABLE. DESPITE COPING WITH ALL THE ITEMS DURING ONE FULL YEAR OF REDUCING CONTENTS / AND MOVING ON BOTH IN CARE OF EVERYTHING, AS WELL WITH PEOPLE TO MAINTAIN SOME ACTIVE LIFE, THE EFFECT ON MYSELF - AND US THREE, IS STILL ONE OF SHOCK AND SORROW.
OUR SENSE OF LOSS WILL STAY AT THE SAME INTENSITY FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.
