Maria Magadalena Guitguiten Loquere “ Daling “was raised in the remote place in Tultugan, Calape, Bohol, Philippines on July 22, 1933. There she grew up with the influence of the Boholana culture, simple but truly beautiful and hardworking. Despite of all those hard works in the province she did not forget to hang up with friends where she met my father Isidro Josol Loquere , they blessed with four children; Helen Loquere Naong , Danilo Loquere, Marina Loquere Racoma and Arthur Loquere. Our parent sets as a true role model to us, the simplicity in life, contentment and the most is the fear with God Jesus Christ. Our mother Daling really showed her light to us in times of darkness, she thought us to be strong, find ways to survived and communicate God through prayers at all times. I remember when we were still a kids my mother loves to make dresses to my sisters and shorts pants, polo’s for me. She even did the hair cut to both of us regularly, but besides of her loving care she implies discipline to us, she was a great disciplinarian that most of the time I don’t understand the reason before during my childhood . But when, I grew older, I realized that our mother just wants her children to be a good and God fearing individuals. She proved it to us how strong she was when she implicated her illness, her kidney malfunctions. At the start she undergone dialysis for ones a week until it became three times a week. I can’t imagine the pain she felt when I saw my mother setting in that machine, the blood were being filtered, flowing in and out of her body. She received a kidney donor in her late age of 70, she was successfully transplant even in her late age of 70’s. There she showed unto us the spirit of survival, how to hold on, lay everything to God. Until again another illness brought her into Wahaiwa Gen. Hospital again she tried to fight, we knew she struggle much to fight and survived for her life, until her creator decided that, “its okey Daling I knew you are strong, you fight for so long this is enough for you. . . . YOU MAY REST IN PEACE “ Our mother Daling is in with God on the 16th day of March at Wahaiwa Gen. Hospital. Her interment will be on 12th Day of April.
