LISA WAS BORN IN WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS IN 1961. SHE WAS THE ONLY GIRL SURROUNDED BY THREE BROTHERS. HER LOVE FOR ANIMALS AND ALL THINGS NEW ENGLAND WERE EVIDENT THROUGHOUT HER LIFE. WHETHER TRYING TO CATCH SEAGULLS AT HER FAMILIES SEASIDE VACATION HOME IN MAINE DURING THE SUMMER OR SLIDING DOWN THE SNOWY HILLS OF WORCESTER IN A SHINY RED SNOWSUIT ON "SNOW-DAYS", LISA WAS FULL OF LIFE, LAUGHTER AND MISCHIEVOUS FUN. SHE GOT GOOD GRADES, MARRIED HER HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART AND STARTED A FAMILY. SHE PUT HER FAMILY FIRST, INCLUDING HER PARENTS AND IN-LAWS. SHE CONTINUED TO HAVE A REMARKABLE RELATIONSHIP WITH HER 3 BROTHERS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS HER HUSBAND ROBERT'S SIBLINGS. SHE WAS WELL KNOWN AT HER DAUGHTER'S SCHOOLS DUE TO HER ENDLESS, SELFLESS HOURS OF VOLUNTEERING. LISA WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER IN SEPTEMBER OF 2003 AND STRUGGLED VALIANTLY, REDEFINING STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE TO ALL WHO KNEW HER. ON MAY 12TH, 2004, LISA WAS LAID TO REST IN A BEAUTIFUL MEADOW IN RURAL MASSACHUSETTS, SURROUNDED BY A RAINBOW OF BLOSSOMING TREES AND FLOWERS. A CENTURIES OLD STONE WALL STANDS CENTINEL BESIDE HER. HER BROTHERS HAVE PROMISED TO PLACE SEVERAL SALT LICKS IN THE WALL DURING THE WINTER MONTHS TO ENSURE STEADY VISITS FROM DEER AND OTHER ANIMALS. LISA WILL NEVER BE ALONE. NEITHER WILL WE BE VOID OF HER LOVING SPIRIT. IT'S OUR PRIVILEDGE AND HONOR TO RETURN THE LOVE TO LISA.
